For thousands of years, meteorites have slammed into the earth’s surface, each one carrying an invaluable record of the very beginnings of our solar system. Some of these meteorites are buried beneath hundreds and even thousands of years worth of sediment. Some simply sit on the earth’s surface, waiting to be discovered. But wherever they are, finding these meteorites is no easy task.

Now, LMNO Productions and the Science Channel are bringing viewers along on the search for these treasures with Steve Arnold and Geoff Notkin, the Meteorite Men. Join us as we travel to distant locations and explore the fascinating science of these alien visitors.

Better yet, join in the search! If you’ve witnessed a meteorite impact or if you’ve heard about one near you, send us an email.
